Gradio

Gradio is an open-source Python library for building browser interfaces around machine-learning models, APIs and other Python functions. Developers connect their own function to input and output components rather than receiving a bundled model or inference service. The official quickstart documents Python 3.10 or newer and use from scripts, notebooks or compatible hosted environments. This review read documentation and the linked repository; it did not install the package or run a model.

Interface provides a compact way to wrap a function, Blocks supports custom layouts and event flows, and ChatInterface supplies a chatbot interface around developer-provided logic. Components cover text, images, audio and other data types. The project also documents Python and JavaScript clients for calling compatible applications. Actual output quality depends on the chosen model or function.

The official repository identifies the Apache License 2.0, with commercial use, modification and distribution listed among its permissions. Review the license conditions before redistributing the software. This does not establish free model inference, hardware or hosting for every deployment. Check the separate costs and terms of any hosting service, model API or infrastructure you select.

Gradio can run locally, create temporary public share links or be deployed on hosting infrastructure. The sharing guide says standard share links expire after one week and require the originating process to remain available. Public sharing exposes the application to other users; configure access and file handling for the intended audience.

The guide documents developer analytics enabled by default, including environment, component usage, version and an IP address used to count unique developers, with an opt-out setting. That description is not a privacy guarantee for applications built with Gradio: application code, hosts and connected services can have their own data practices. Performance, production security and model accuracy were not tested.
