RemoveBackgroundAI

RemoveBackgroundAI is a web tool from VPS.org LLC that removes backgrounds from photos and videos. Users upload JPG, PNG or WEBP images, or MP4, MOV or GIF videos, and the AI detects the subject and returns a transparent PNG or a video without its background, handling hair, fur and semi-transparent edges. No sign-up is needed for basic use, and paid users get batch processing and a REST API for automating the same task in their own apps.

The tool suits online sellers preparing product photos for marketplaces, designers making transparent logos and graphics, people creating headshots or passport-style photos, and video editors who need overlays without a green screen. Automatic cutouts can miss fine details on complex images, so results should be checked before publishing. Nothing was tested for this listing.

The pricing page offers a free plan with one image or video per day at standard quality and a 5-second video limit, and a Pro plan at $7 per month with unlimited images and videos, HD output, batch processing, API access and uploads up to 2GB. Annual billing is shown as 16% cheaper, teams of three or more get 15% off each extra person, and the page mentions a money-back guarantee.
