Create teaching materials, draft feedback and review how students developed their writing.
Tool Information
Brisk Teaching brings lesson preparation, feedback and student activities into the browser tools educators already use. Its current public offering includes a browser extension, a web workspace and school-level curriculum and administration features. Teachers can adapt source material, prepare assessments, adjust reading levels and draft feedback. The important review step is still instructional: check the factual content, reading difficulty, rubric alignment and usefulness of a generated response before assigning it to students. Inspect Writing serves a different purpose from a text-classification detector. The dedicated page describes a video-style replay of additions, deletions, pasted material and revisions within a student's writing process. Its FAQ explicitly says that it does not produce an accuracy score. A pasted passage or a rapid revision can prompt a conversation, but neither independently proves that a student used AI or committed misconduct. The older directory description's high-accuracy detector framing is therefore unsuitable for the current evidence. The current public FAQ also pairs its AI-detection question with an unrelated answer about Microsoft applications; that answer cannot substantiate a detection claim. Free access is offered for teachers, while Premium and Intelligence are sold to schools or districts with additional alignment, management and support options. Confirm the tier and permitted data handling before introducing student work into a school deployment. This review examined public product, writing-inspection and pricing pages. It did not install an extension, inspect a student's document or verify school privacy and compliance claims independently. Evaluate the workflow with approved sample material and an agreed review process before broader classroom use.
