Checksum

Checksum is an AI-assisted testing service operated by Checksum AI, Inc. Its current public offering combines end-to-end and API testing agents with maintained Playwright tests delivered to a team's repository. The provider describes generation, execution and repair of tests alongside CI/CD, with human engineers verifying delivered tests. These capabilities were not benchmarked: no repository connection, agent execution or test application was used.

Pricing is based on maintained workflows rather than seats or test runs. Emerging lists fifty workflows, Scaling two hundred, and Enterprise four hundred or more; published workflow guidance defines an end-to-end test of up to thirty actions. Enterprise includes API testing. The page advertises a thirty-day trial but does not publish a dollar subscription amount. Request a written scope and quote, including workflow replacement, integrations and trial commitments, before budgeting.

The public login page offers identity-provider sign-in or an application code. The separate demo-booking page rendered an unavailable appointment message during review, so successful booking was not verified. The existence of the login page does not establish account access or test quality.

The subscription agreement describes committed order forms, automatic renewal and normally thirty days' nonrenewal notice. Fees are payable in US dollars and generally nonrefundable, subject to specified exceptions. Customers must obtain rights to supplied data and connected applications. The agreement permits data use to operate and improve the service and acknowledges inaccurate AI output; review generated tests and environment permissions rather than assuming complete coverage.

Checksum may fit a team considering outsourced maintenance of a Playwright regression suite. Compare the maintained-flow allowance, repository ownership, required access and review process. Promotional speed, bug-reduction and certification claims were not independently verified.
