DeepMake

DeepMake is a local generative-AI toolkit from Arkavian Inc, trading as DeepMake. Its product pages describe an Adobe After Effects integration for text-to-image and image-to-image generation, face and object masking, and image or video upscaling. Nuke and DaVinci Resolve are labelled as coming soon, so they are not treated as available integrations. This review checks published documentation; it does not establish rendering quality or compatibility through a software installation.

The official GitHub repository contains the DeepMake backend. Its README explains that a host plugin and processing plugins are also needed. The backend carries an MIT licence, with copyright-notice conditions and no warranty. That licence should not be assumed to cover every model, host application, separate plugin or generated asset. Users must check the terms of the components they choose and hold the necessary rights to their input material.

The current pricing page advertises a free Community option and a custom Studio offering. Studio lists custom integrations, multi-computer rendering and support. A reference to a Creator plan and the feature-comparison display do not clearly establish every Community entitlement, so confirm the intended feature and installation route before relying on free access. No universal paid price is published.

Processing uses the user's hardware rather than a hosted rendering allowance. The vendor recommends an Nvidia GPU from the 20-series or newer with 8 GB VRAM for PC users, or an Apple Silicon Mac with 16 GB or more RAM. Local processing does not mean zero data collection: the privacy policy describes application telemetry and crash reports sent to Sentry, with crash logs retained for no more than 90 days, plus contact information managed through HubSpot. Hardware performance, model compatibility and those privacy controls were not independently audited.
