Design Buddy is an AI design-review tool from Mighty Tools, offered through Canva, Figma and Adobe Express integrations. It describes selecting a design and requesting feedback on layout, colour, typography and accessibility. The service processes an image of the design and a structured summary containing dimensions, fonts and colours. Suggestions support revision; their quality and completeness were not tested in this review.

The observed pricing selectors show $8 per month or $64 per year. Both advertise a seven-day trial, with the first charge on day eight. Subscriptions renew automatically. The published policy says to cancel before the trial ends to avoid a charge and that payments after the trial are non-refundable. Confirm currency, taxes and applicable checkout terms before subscribing; no purchase or trial was started.

The current website advertises unlimited reviews, while its FAQ separately describes older plans with fixed allowances on a rolling 30-day cycle. Existing subscribers should check their own plan. For website purchases, the provider describes emailing an activation key that works across supported platforms, with additional instructions for Canva.

Privacy matters for client work. The policy says screenshots and design summaries are processed by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, and providers may change. It says Design Buddy does not store those images or summaries, but may retain optional prompts for monitoring and improvement. The provider explicitly advises against submitting confidential, proprietary or sensitive designs. These are published policy statements, not an independent security audit.
