Map This

Map This is a browser-based tool for turning documents and written information into mind maps. Its public site describes three input routes: uploading a PDF, pasting notes or supplying an AI prompt. The proposed workflow is to provide material, generate a map and then save it for later or share it with someone else. This can be useful for students organizing study material, educators preparing topic outlines and professionals exploring the structure of a report.

The official FAQ says that users on Pro plans can add new nodes and edit or delete existing nodes after creation. It lists a 5MB PDF upload limit for the free plan and describes paid plans as having no file-size limit. These are the provider's published conditions; large-file handling, conversion completeness and editing behavior were not tested. Users should compare a generated map with the original document before relying on its coverage or relationships.

The service offers free access and paid options using credits. According to the FAQ, conversion credit consumption depends on a PDF's size and complexity, and more credits can be purchased or obtained through an upgraded plan. Exact current prices, included credit quantities and reset rules were not established from the reviewed public pages. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through the account or billing portal. Payments are generally non-refundable, with potential review of requests involving a product bug or service error.

The public sign-in page was accessible, but no account was created and no document, note or prompt was submitted. The website privacy notice describes general contact and usage information; it does not establish document-specific retention, model-provider processing or training conditions. Review those arrangements before supplying confidential material.
