Screen Story

Screen Story is a screen recording app for Mac from the Lithuanian company Perfomante video ads UAB. Users record their screen, webcam and microphone as usual, and the app applies design patterns automatically: it zooms in on actions, smooths fast cursor movement and arranges the webcam, producing product demos, tutorials, website GIFs and social media stories without manual editing. It records system audio, can use an iPhone as an external camera, works offline with on-device rendering and offers a simple editor. The company says on-device AI captions and more multi-camera layouts are in development.

Screen Story suits founders, marketers, designers and educators who make product videos on a Mac without video-editing skills. Recordings can capture sensitive on-screen data, so users should check what is visible before sharing. Nothing was tested for this listing.

The pricing page lists a Month Pass at $19 per month for 30 days of access and a Yearly Pass at $89 per year, both with all features and unlimited exports. All features can be tried for free, with payment details requested only before rendering, and subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
