Skillroads

Skillroads is a career services website built around AI resume tools. Its resume generator creates a custom resume in a few clicks, and its resume checker gives instant feedback, scores the resume and checks whether it is likely to pass applicant tracking systems (ATS), with guidelines for fixing weak points. A cover letter generator drafts letters for applications. Beyond the self-service tools, Skillroads sells resume writing, resume editing and resume review services, LinkedIn profile editing and an all-inclusive application package, and it runs a job board with listings from large companies and a personalized job matching approach.

Skillroads is aimed at job seekers who want help producing application documents quickly. Generated resumes and cover letters should be checked carefully for accuracy before they are sent, and no tool can promise interviews or job offers. Nothing was tested for this listing.

The homepage invites users to try the resume maker for free. The terms of use, effective April 25, 2024, state that services are prepaid at the prices listed on the website and that a chargeback gives up the customer's rights to the documents, but no price list was shown on the pages reviewed, so pricing is not yet verified.
